Softball Season!

Here we are down at Idaho Falls in May for our state softball tournament. Lewiston has not been to state in years and we finally made our dream and goal and made it! We went down there being the underdogs and lost the first game, we then came back and won the next three in a row including (Coeur d'alene) our competitors who always go to state, so that was a huge highlight. We ended up taking 3rd at state and showed everyone who the Lewiston Bengals are!! We start the 2009 season next.Here we are stranded in downtown Idaho Falls, our bus went 'TU' and we had to walk to eat and walk to our hotel, it was lovely!!

"Vintage Glam 04": The beautiful and complimentary lipstick color for Mr. Rogers. He really enjoyed the sparkles and we all made sure to tell him how gorgeous he looked. The most hilarious moment was when Ryan actually told us all the name of the lipstick color. He was so upset because it took a lot of rubbing to get it off. I promised to make sure the sparkles would POP!
This day was awesome, Wendy and Ryan are such a blast! We went up river in the awesome red Hells Canyon Marine boat and shot these gorgeous pictures. These two have just wonderful personalities and we all can see how magically in love they are. Its a true fairytale! 27 days and counting before the winter wonderland wedding in McCall and I can't wait. Thanks for an amazing and adventurous day you two!

Photographers Prayer

Oh God, as I bring my subject into focus and prepare to make each portrait, nerver let me forget that I’m creating treasures for some family, a keepsake for loved ones. Make me sensitive to the qualities and virtues of others, that I may draw out into the light the beautiful radiant belongings of their hearts.

Help me to be an artist, collecting the beauty of every soul, the glow of youth, the gentleness, the laughter or tears of each life that is precious in Thy sight. Deeper than a means of livelihood, give me the perspective to see my photographer’s art as a service to others, making life richer and more memorable.

And, dear Lord, between the lights and shadows, the ups and downs and the rolling years, keep me from getting out of focus or off center, so that my life and work may be framed with dignity and colored with contentment …

Well, here we are folks! Bridal Fantasy 2009 was a huge hit and so much fun. We showed up with our theme: black, pink and our HOT PINK HEELS! Yes, hot pink heels. Even though I pretended to walk in them I don't think I will put them on ever again ;) for comfort sake. My girls were so much help and I want to thank them again for all their fun spirits that made the day so much more. Natalie on the left, Harmony on the right.
