If you are a bride that understands the importance of photography and capturing one of the most important days of your life, then you'll love these tips to help you...
Make time: Make enough time between getting your hair done and the ceremony, not too long because your updo's will be straight, but enough time to give you time to snack, get your dress on without a rush and then start formals.
*Make sure the florist arrives 10 minutes before formals begin. Request the florist to be there to pin on boutonnieres on the men, this will alleviate a lot of stress for the bridal party the day of the wedding. If the florist is not able to do this make sure you have a designated person to pin on boutonnieres, this may be a confusing problem for the men to do themselves.
*Be on time to the formals....and be sober...please ;) (guys)
Before the Ceremony: Getting your portraits over with and seeing each other for the first time in an intimate private setting is the greatest decision for so many reasons... for the couple, family, and wedding party.
It is better to get all the formals done before the ceremony. It is always a rush afterwards. Your guests want to see you on your special day and some of them came from a long way. You don't want to be peaking in and out during the reception because you're still doing formals. I truly respect the Groom not seeing his Bride before the ceremony, so I have included a special moment time where just the two see each other for the first time while I am capturing every glimpse of magic.
Value your photographs: block off a chunk of time for formals lots of time=lots of awesome photos.
*Make a list of all the family you want to be captured with you, I really stress this big! I don't know your family and i don't want anyone left out.
You are Relaxed: which means your timeline and schedule are well thought out. You've added in a bit of extra time to handle those little things that may go wrong. Weddings get completely thrown out of whack by the things you would least expect. Your day will be amazing and unforgettable, but don't stress the small stuff. Nothing (not even your fairytale wedding) is perfect.
Well...that's it for now, if anyone has any tips to make the wedding day magical, please email me ;)
